Sadly, for personal reasons, we've had to put our lovely house on the market:  hence, for returning visitors looking at this site, we're not taking bookings for 2010 just yet just in case our purchaser doesn't want to continue our rental business.  If we haven't sold by Easter 2010, we'll take bookings for July / August, so do register your interest and we'll get back to you asap.

Mas de la Picolette is usually only rented out from after Easter until the Autumn Half Term week.  Other periods are considered, so please contact us to discuss.

If Picolette isn't rented out about a month in advance, we will consider renting to smaller parties, at a per head per week rate.  Again, please contact us to discuss further and see below for more details

Please read these further notes ..... 

  • Please note that the per week rates are based on guests renting the whole property, sleeping 10  + 2 children + a baby, and include water, gas, electricity (except during the heating season when an additional charge for electricity, wood etc is made), towels, etc.... (only beach / pool towels are not provided) with exclusive use of all the grounds, pool etc.  

  • If you are a larger party, please let us know, and if we are happy with the number, will charge the "per head per week" rate for the additional guests.  Alternatively we have friends with a smaller villa in Pignans (with a sunny courtyard garden and pool):  this sleeps six and has often been used as an additional annex for parties that total up to 18.

  • We charge the per head / per week rates to smaller parties who book unreserved time at short notice (usually only from a month in advance and the rate is subject to agreement.)   Please note that these rates are available only to parties of 6 and under, including children and babies - and that children and babies are counted in the total when calculating the cost. I'm afraid we can make no reduction for children and babies (they use rooms, bedding, the washing machine just as an adult).

  •  If pets are part of your party (subject to agreement) we do make an additional charge (see .....).

  • There is mandatory weekly cleaning charge (currently 140 euros) which is not included in the weekly rental charge and is payable to us locally:  this provides a full house-clean, clean sheets etc.  (There is no further "end of stay cleaning charge" often levied on holiday homes.)  We also require a fully refundable Security Deposit.  

  • We, the owners, live in a tucked-away self contained flat above the Studio.  Our guests are not disturbed by our presence and indeed many find it a blessing as we can offer other services such as babysitting, transport etc if required.  It also means that the garden and pool are kept immaculate at all times, and if anything goes wrong, we are on hand to sort it.  We're also on hand to give local information - the best way to drive to St Tropez market, good restaurants etc.

  • Payments should preferably be made by UK cheque in sterling or paid from a UK bank directly into our bank account.  If payment is made by international transfer, we ask that you additionally cover the bank charges incurred at this end (usually £15 per transfer).

  • Please note that in the school holidays, priority is given to bookings of 2 or more consecutive weeks.
